Dear Christ the King Family-
This Sunday, Sept. 5th, I will be preaching from the Old Testament lesson in Deuteronomy 30:15-20 on “Choose Life.” God is urging us to make serious choices so that we can be in the place of God’s blessings. We must choose between:
1) life or death
2) obedience or idolatry
3) blessings or curses
I pray that this message will be an encouragement to choose life, obedience and blessings!
The last of my “traveling Sundays” this year will be on Sept. 12th. I have been invited by the Rector of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Stockton, CA to preach at their 160th anniversary celebration service. Please keep me in your prayers for safe travel and for safety for my family as they are here at home while I’m away. I’ll be back to preside and preach at Christ the King on Sunday, Sept. 19th.
Don’t forget that Sept. 17-18 in Ft. Wayne, IN is our Heart of North America Fall Reunion. This is a great way to get a glimpse at what God is doing regionally and nationally in the Anglican Mission in the Americas.
